Hi.
Would it be possible for you guys to give an option to, ideally, show the Quick Launch area from the Windows Taskbar on the duplicate DisplayFusion taskbar, or at least to being able to create this area on the DisplayFusion Taskbar?
By quick launch I mean ofcourse this part of the taskbar:

We're hoping to be able to add toolbar support to the DisplayFusion taskbar, but we unfortunately haven't had much luck getting it working yet. We'll be sure to post an update if we can get it implemented.
Thanks!

I can't find a way to set this up in the current version of DisplayFusion. Has there been any progress on making it possible to have a quicklaunch toolbar in each of the taskbars?

Keith, any progress with it? Or maybe it already was implemented?
I just moved to the latest version, so I'm a bit outdated, sorry.

Hi,
When are you expecting to be able to display the qick launch toolbar on display fusion ?
It's definitely a must have !

I too would enjoy Quicklaunch, hopefully it gets added soon.
Until then however, there is something that comes close to the same functionality that i use.
'Taskbar Shortcuts' - Rightclick on desktop 'Multi-Monitor Taskbar' - 'Shortcuts' - 'Edit Shortcuts'
You can use this to create a permanent icon shortcut to an application, folder, file, website etc.
While not perfect i'd say it manages about 90% of the convenience i would have if the quick-launch was there.

Curious re: status of this feature request.
Is it being considered? Actively being addressed? On a back burner?
I know it's not a fire to put out, but I'd just like to know so that I might plan accordingly.
Thanks!
We'd love to add it, but there's no Windows API for adding Toolbars, and we haven't been able to find a workaround. We will definitely post an update if/when we're able to get it working some day though!

Take a look at the program "Actual Multiple Monitors". Its FREE. It does a lot of what DisplayFusion does. An includes support for additional toolbars such as the QuickLaunch toolbar that DisplayFusion says it can't do.

Well, it's actually NOT free but more expensive than DF @ $24.95 for the full version. I tested it in a VM and noted few things. You are correct they are drawing toolbars which appears to be from scratch. They also are not truly mirroring the tray notification/clock when you try to "customize" the tray from anything but primary, the option is simply not there to do so.
With that said, it is cool how they draw toolbars and with that said.....I have no doubt Keith and team eventually will roll in that functionality into the DF taskbar, which IMO is much more robust in the way they are doing the mirroring of primary.
EDIT: The "mirror" mode they have implemented the DF team should look at, it's pretty cool and I'd vote for it being a future feature request along with the taskbar toolbars. Those are the two primary features that jumped out at me that DF doesn't currently have but would be useful additions. There are, however, many more features that DF has over their product in fact, I had to disable classic shell because it flat out broke that product's second taskbar until I did.

Hi,
Is this feature request strictly for Quick Launch, or does it also apply for the Toolbars feature of the taskbar (right-click Windows taskbar, choose Toolbars on the context menu)?
If the latter, please add my vote for full support. I have several toolbar folders of shortcuts that I use. I don't use "pin to taskbar" because using Toolbars with small icons, no text, and no title conserves more taskbar real estate. Thanks!

Add my name to the list of people wanting Toolbars with Displayfusion. The only option I've seen to do have Quick Launch on a second taskbar is Actual Multiple Monitors but I was not impressed with how it worked and made settings changes on my computer.

I just had an idea. Is it possible to split a single monitor into two or three virtual monitors and then use one of the virtual monitors as a 'quick launch' desktop? In just this desktop I'd want to change the icon sizes to small icons, decrease the spacing between icon, and remove the icon titles? Below are articles on how to do make these changes, but I don't know if they can be applied to separate virtual desktops or ALL desktop.

Unfortunately DisplayFusion wouldn't be able to do that. As far as I know it's not possible to specify different sizes/spacing for desktop icons, sorry!

I'd really like this too! Display fusion really impressed me, and I rarely buy addons like this, but this is the one thing missing for me.

Another +1 for the QuickLaunch toolbar on the DisplayFusion taskbar. I use this all the time, and I've just added another monitor to my setup. QuickLaunch is a must!

Has it already been implemented?
Thanks
Hello,
Unfortunately this isn't something we've been able to add yet, but it is still on our feature request list.
Thanks!

Sadly, this is the feature that keeps me from paying for Display Fusion, along with open in active monitor not working most of the time.

Has this been added yet?
Honestly have no idea how anyone can use the taskbar without quick launch. Animals.
