Hey!
I recently bought DisplayFusion and am having some trouble... The program seems to randomly crash...

I'm running Windows 7 with 2xATI Radeon HD 4350, 3xDell 22" at 1680x1050, and 1xSamsung 19" at 1280x1024.

It's a brand new Windows install (within one week), and I haven't had any issues with any other programs.

Any ideas?

Jon, the developer, is away for a few more day, but will undoubtedly look into this when he gets back. :-)

In the meantime, would you enable debug logging from the Options page? That will collect data more aggressivly than W7's app crash utility, and Jon will be able to spot it pretty quickly (he has every time I have had an issue with W7).
I am I.

Also:
  • Which version of Windows 7 are you running?
  • Do you have the latest ATI drivers?
  • What is your User Account Control (UAC) setting?
  • Don't forget to turn OFF debugging when the problem is resolved, as the log file will grow forever. :-P

Okay, I enabled debug logging and will post what it has next time it crashes.

I'm running Windows 7 Build 7100 with the newest ATI drivers and UAC settings at default.

Okay, just crashed again... Attached what DisplayFusion had in the log when I restarted it. Let me know if I can send any more info that might help.

Sorry, this isn't the correct debug.log file. If you go to the "Troubleshooting" tab and click the "Open Log Location" button, you should see a file called "Debug.log". Can you post that file here? Thanks!

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. Thanks! :)
