Hi

I spent last hour reading all the toppics abour RDP issues at your forum, but I did not find the solution for my problem.

I have Win7 ultimate (planning to update to Win10 soon) and 3 monitors setup, all 3 are the same 1920/1080px. I would like to launch fulscreen RDP at just one monitor and use another 2monitors for my local work. All the solutions I found failed and I have windowed RDP on selected monitor or fulscreen on primary monitor with other 2 being just black...

Thank you in advance for some solution.

You should be able to just set the RDP session to full screen, then click the restore button to window it, drag it to another monitor, then maximize it again. Does that not work on your system?

Nope :/

Tried this (and all other things that came to my mind) few times, with no luck.

Temp workaround is manually editing rdp shourcut:
screen mode id:i:1
use multimon:i:1
desktopwidth:i:1905
desktopheight:i:1040
session bpp:i:32
winposstr:s:0,1,3840,0,5760,1078

it is not full screen, but RDP window uses whole third monitor.

Wow, that's definitely weird! On my system I can just do the steps from my previous post. I did a quick search and found what looks to be a couple of other workarounds too though: http://superuser.com/questions/100668/how-do-i-open-a-remote-desktop-session-on-a-secondary-monitor

Glad to hear you were able to find a workable solution at least!

Do not know why, but this workaround does not work for me.

I will leave it like that(it is not bad, I can work like that) for some time, till I upgrade to Win10, maybe this will solve the problem.
