I was in the process of posting this as an issue. I purchased a DisplayFusion Pro Personal Home License. After adding the license key to DF, I continued to receive the "You need to upgrade to DisplayFusion Pro to use this Feature" message when I attempt to use Pro features. However, it turns out I just needed to be a little patient. I received my license via email and entered it into the license field under Settings. About two hours later the features were available to me. I'm adding this post for any that are as inpatient as me to let them know it will be OK.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for posting this issue! The Pro features should be available immediately after pasting the key into the Settings window and clicking Apply. Which version of DisplayFusion were you running when you pasted the key in?

Thanks!

Hi Keith,
I am having the same problem, i can not tell you the version. All i know is it was 4 or higher and i bought the key on 12/19/12, and was up to date. I swear it was working at one point, because i have used the screen save feature in the past. When i paste the key it tellls me thank you for registering, but nothing happens after that. I have tried multiple times and tried restarting the pc and the program. Any advice would be great.

@Jeremy: Could you try the following?
  • Install DisplayFusion 5.0
  • Login to the DisplayFusion Customer Portal: https://portal.displayfusion.com (use the "I forget my password" link to set it)
  • Click the My Licenses tab
  • Click the "Use in DisplayFusion" link next to your license key

Please let me know if you still have any trouble.

Thanks!
