Greetings,

When I attempt to set up a monitor profile that applies to my Samsung 4k TV (running at 1080p) and an AOC monitor at 1080p, it won't allow me to set a refresh rate above 30hz on the TV. 30hz is unusable as it introduces a quarter second lag in the display. Is there any way to force it to 60hz? So far, I've been having to go into the Display Adapter Properties in Windows to do a manual override to 60hz and then the lag goes away.

Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks! After you've set it up as 60Hz using the Windows display settings, if you close and re-open the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration, does it still show it as 30Hz, even though it's currently running at 60Hz?

Going back into Monitor Config after adjusting the Windows Display Properties, it correctly says the monitor is running at 60hz. I tried a workaround of re-saving the profile while the config panel was at 60hz, but it reverts to 30hz again after reloading the profile. Curious little bug, this one is.

That's strange indeed! Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info after you've saved the Profile with 60Hz selected, and then another copy after you've tried to load it?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)

Files are attached. One created immediately while running at 60hz, and another created immediately after re-loading the profile.

Thanks! The saved Monitor Profile in both cases shows 60 Hz, so it must be an issue with actually applying that value. Can you try enabling the "Monitor Configuration: Use Classic Monitor Get/Set Functions" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings, then re-save the Monitor Profile and see if that helps?
