Hello,

This issue from the beta seems to have occured again, where my monitor profiles don't properly apply, and I have to go into the display manager and extend the displays manually. Not sure which version caused it to break again, as I was off last week and I only noticed it this week when I returned to work.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue! Would you be able to help us troubleshoot this issue? If so, can you send us a debug log by following these steps?

- Make sure you're running the latest release, 11.0.5
- On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
- Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
- Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
- Reply with the file attached
- Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Okay, here's the requested info. I recorded switching to my duplicated display profile, waited for it to finish, then switched to the extended display profile. The second switch was around 10:15 MT (UTC -7).

We have just released a new test version that we hope will fix this issue. You can download it from here:

https://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?Package=displayfusion&test-11.0.6=1

Would you be able to install the new version and see if your issue still happens? If the issue still exists can you gather another round of debug info for us using these steps?

- Make sure you're running the new test build
- On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
- Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
- Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
- Reply with the file attached
- Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks for your help with this issue!

I started experiencing the same issue today on 11.0.5. Switching profiles has no effect.

Fun. Good to know it's the latest version that is the cause.

I haven't tested the other monitor profiles, but for me it is the one that extends my displays that doesn't work. The one that causes my two monitor profiles to duplicate the desktop works just fine, if that helps with narrowing down the issue.

We have another test build ready, this will should download as 11.0.6-Beta3. Can you give this one a try and see if your monitor profiles work correctly now?

https://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?Package=displayfusion&test-11.0.6=1

If not, can you submit another debug info zip file and we can review again? Thanks!

Issue still persists. It seems it's having issues extending the displays on my monitor's 2 and 3, but has no issues duplicating the display on 2 and 3.

Ran the command to extend the displays around 14:07.

Howdy, I am also having the same problem. Some more info on my set up.
Display switching works if no monitors are disabled during the switch.
If all displays remain active and its just changing to mirroring it seems ok, I think
However when a display should be disabled the app hangs when switching profiles and then nothing happens.
I also can not disable a display from the UI.
I tried the beta, and its still broken.
I have reverted back to the lasted version 10.1.2 and its working as expected
My GPU is Nvidia if thats helpful.

I came here to report issues over the last couple weeks with Monitor Profiles not switching, and I can say that installing this latest beta seems to have fixed the issue for me! Yey!

Will continue to test (as I have about 5 different profiles) and see if any issues pop up going from one particular profile to another

Until then, it's looking good/fixed!

Well this is excellent news indeed! Thanks for being so patient with all the test builds, please let me know if you run into any other monitor profile/config issues and we can look into them more. I'll keep the ticket open on our end for now and fingers-crossed this is fixed for the final 11.0.6 release. :)

Will do. Thanks for looking into it and getting it resolved! I see that there were a couple of threads I missed about this issue. I'll try to chime in on other discussions that are already open next time.

Hope you have a happy new year!

Thanks working great, small nitpick the wallpaper did not update when switching from my Desktop setup to TV setup it kept the old one... not sure if that was working before other than that it seems fine.

Sure I reproduced the issue and exported the logs and attached them to the post.
Please also find this poorly shot and edited video with what I am talking about.

I think we have found the issue and fixed it. We'll be releasing Beta 6 next week. As long as you have auto-updates enabled in DisplayFusion you should get prompted once it's out. Thanks!

Ahoy, I have been having a very similar issue to those described in this thread (any wallpaper changes I make in DF just won't happen, basically, until much later - sometimes hours), so this is good news! Hopefully the upcoming Beta version will resolve the issue. I started a whole new thread without noticing this one (sorry about that lol), but again, hopefully this issue will be solved next week. I'll keep an eye out for Beta 6.
