Hi,
I really like the idea of the monitor fading feature but find the instant dim to be too jarring, even at only 10%.

It would be much nicer if it gradually dimmed the display over some time period (customisable) eg. 1% per second.

Also I'd like to delay any dimming for a time period eg. 15 seconds so when I'm working across both monitors frequently, I might not need to disable this feature.

Thanks

Both of these are currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to them :)

Thanks!

Related, but different: I'd vote/request for a quick/instant "wake up from fade" when mouse is moved to a currently faded monitor (to save a click).

I see from another thread that's on the list, but add my up-vote. :-)

I would like to add my vote to the first request. I find the instant fade jarring as well. Since this was requested 3 years ago, any chance it has moved higher up on the to-do list?

We'll see if we can get this into one of our betas for v11.

Thanks!

We've released a new beta that allows you set to a gradual fade time. You can grab it here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!
