I found my resolution in another thread. I willleave ths question here for future viewers. Here is what I found from the other thread: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/all-windows-showing-on-main-monitor-taskbar-and-appropriate-monitor-taskbar/?ID=41ce0896-9bf3-4faf-80ae-99482b8b2130
I just posted about this in a new thread as I have noticed the exact same thing.
I failed to notice that the last upgrade reset my settings randomly.
For example when I checked the taskbar was set to "Windows taskbar shows all windows,Display Fusion shows relevent windows." This was not what I set.
I reset that to All taskbars show relevant Windows and the issue is resolved.
So this was a case of the install routine not respecting user settings. 'Please fix it?
Thank you very much for a fine applicationto: I rarely have any issue with it as it seems ot just work as expected for my use case.
--------------original question/issue below----------------------
Explanation: Windows 10 22H2 - all updates current
I have 3 monitors with the middle one being the primary and having the Windows taskbar on it.
Each of my secondary monitors has display fusion taskbar on them.
I open an application and can see it's taskbar tile on my primary monitor (Windows taskbar).
I drag that Window to one of my secondary monitors (the left one) and I now see the taskbar tile on my primary and my secondary monitor (not the 3rd one though).
I then drag that Window to my 3rd monitor (the right one) and I now see the taskbar tile on the primary and the right monitor.
What I want is to only show the taskbar tile on the taskbar of the monitor which is currently displaying the application window.
So, if I move it to the left display I would like the primary display to no longer show that application window. and the same if I move it to the right display.
In other words, only show the taskbar tile of the application on the taskbar of the monitor displaying it.

Thanks for posting the solution! I haven't run into issues with the settings getting changed on upgrade but we will re-test here to make sure there isn't anything funky going on there.
Thanks!
