Hi, the only reason I bought Displayfusion was for the multiple monitor configs which will not work with version 11.0.4. Seems to me like it might be a better idea to roll back the latest patches cause this program now is glitchy as.
Is there a way to install an older version if I bought it through Steam?

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue! If you use the monitor config window to re-create your profiles and re-save them does that work? It's possible that your profiles are older and don't have the data the new version needs. Recreating the profiles should fix the issue though. Can you let me know if this is the issue, we're trying to troubleshoot it right now and any extra info would help. Thanks!

Hi Jon,
I have changed and resaved all monitor profiles but the issue persists.
I have established that the issue happens when I load a monitor profile that changes the primary monitor. I am using a 4 monitor setup and 3 profiles:
All on is 1P,2,3,4
Sitting is 1P,2,3
Standing is 4P
The issue comes when I use Standing profile which then seems to forget all other profiles because when I switch back to All on or Sitting it will only ever have 2,4P. I then have to manually turn the other monitors on.
I have somewhat fixed the issue (not really) by having Standing profile set as 1P,4 but I really do not want 1 as my primary while 4 is on.

That does sound very frustrating, I'll pass this over to the developers next week and we'll see what we can find out. You're not the only one with this issue unfortunately. In the meantime would you be able to help us out by submitting a debug log after the issue has happened?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

After you enable the debug logging load your standing profile and try switching to one of the others where the monitors aren't enabled correctly. After this if you can send the debug info in I'm hoping it will have information we can use to nail this down. Thanks!

Would you be able to install the new version and see if your issue still happens? If the issue still exists can you gather another round of debug info for us using these steps?

- Make sure you're running the new test build

Hi Jon,

Sorry I went on holidays and reverted back to version 10.1.2 so I uninstalled the version 11 updates, ego losing the log. I apologise but it is the only way I can use display fusion without the massive issues that came out with version 11.

Hope you everything works out for the program but at the moment I would highly suggest reverting back to version 10 to circumvent the current issues.

Just a quick update, we've had a bunch of customers confirm that their monitor config/monitor profile issues have been solved since DisplayFusion 11 Beta 7. If you're able to update and give it a try again, please let us know how it works out.
