Sorry if its a really silly question but .. how can I (using DF) switch to displaying the same screen on both displays...(not talking about backgrounds) ? I want the same information displayed on both screens as a option ideally via hotkey.

I have searched but no answer found.. yet

Many thanks in advance

Windows handles this sort of thing, it'll be in the same place you can setup the monitors positions, IE rclick desktopproperties/settings for XP and rclcik desktopscreen resolution for 7

It sounds like you need to setup your displays using a "clone" mode, which is a function of your video card. Check with your video card software and see if you can enable this. Thanks! :)

It would be nice if Display Fusion supported this as well, so switching between monitor profiles was easier. Now when I have my screens duplicated using Windows 7, I can use Display Fusion to change to my Non-duplicated profile, but then I have to remember to go back to Windows to get my screens duplicated again.

@Dwayne: We are planning to add it at some point in the future, so I've added your vote and we'll be sure to post an update when we do.

Thanks!

We've just released DisplayFusion 5.1 Beta 8 (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/), and the Monitor Configuration feature now includes the ability to work with cloned monitors.

Thanks!
