Hi is it possible to have a profile that has a monitor set to disconnected? Recently I've popped the lid of my laptop open, due a message I kept getting, and when I do so upon startup the laptop monitor is on. I have to go and disconnect it all the time. Is there a setting or profile save etc, that I can use so that when it boots up DF disconnects that monitor for me? Thanks.

Hi Dave,

You could save a profile that has that monitor disabled, and then load the profile after your computer is started. Windows also has an option in the Advanced Display Settings called "Prevent Windows from using this display", which might help you out here.

Thanks!

Nope no option in the advanced settings, i'm assuming because it's the hard monitor on the laptop and you wouldn't want to not have it start when disconnected to the the other monitors.

Now regarding the profile, i'm seeing spots to save icons and position profiles, but i'm not seeing anything to save a power on or disabled state..(That was the first thing I looked for prior to the post.) --- found it under options monitor config.

How do I get that monitor profile to auto load/start?

You can create a trigger that uses the "DisplayFusion Starts" event, and then load your profile in the action pane.

Thanks!
