Hello from Belgium. Please forgive my English.

I have a weird behavior here. But not directly related to DisplayFusion I guess... But as displays specialists here I hope you can help me.

I use Displayfusion for quite a long time now and that's the first time I have such behavior. It is a new configuration with a screen that have higher screen resolution than full HD.

I have :
1) Desktop (Win10) with three screens connected on a GTX1070, latest WHQL drivers.
24p 1920x1080 HDMI/HDMI cable
32p 2560x1440 DVI-D/DVI-D cable
24p 1920x1080 DP/DP cable

2) PS4 Pro connected to the 32p 2560x1140 through HDMI; sound from the screen to the speakers 2.0 with jack connection

3) Laptop (Win10) on docking (Lenovo Thinkpad Pro with lateral connector) with three screens connected
24p 1920x1080 HDMI/HDMI cable
24p 1920x1080 DP/DP cable
32p 2560x1440 DP/DP cable
(The laptop can handle 4 screens with 4096*2160 max resolution for two of them, full hd for the others).

The dock has 2 DP, 1 HDMI and 1 VGA connections.
The 32p screen has DVI-D/HDMI/DP connections.

Everything is working well except that when the 32p is disconnected from the laptop to the desktop and back or vice versa (via DF keyboard shortcuts or even via windows display settings), it continuously alternates between standby and awakening. Sometimes there is a parasitic sound in the speakers.

It doesn't happen if the 32p is connected through HDMI to the laptop, but I need the HDMI connection for the PS4.
DisplayPort connection to the desktop seems to work fine.
DP for FullHD screens with the dock works fine.
Tried another DP cable and the two connectors on the dock.
I can't use DVI-D on the 32p screen as with a DVI-D/HDMI cable even with a dual-link cable I don't get the 2560x1440 resolution. It is stuck in 1920x1080/1920x1200 even with dual-link cable.

Is there any power settings that could play a role ?
Any idea that I didn't tried yet ?
Thanks :)

Hello,

Strange, are you able to send me over a video of the issue happening?

Thanks!

Here is the video; I hope it will be ok.

I began by switching the 32p off on the desktop with DisplayFusion, only allowing one 24p on the desktop.

You see it keeps going off and on repeatedly (led below turns amber and blue alternately).

When I unplug the DP cable from the laptop's docking, the screen goes standby normally.

Hello,

Thanks for sending that video over. I can't say I've seen that before, but this thread sounds similar to what you're experiencing: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/2tsnzl/monitor_on_displayport_will_keep_flashing_no/

Hope that helps!
