I'm on a Windows 10 PC and set the screen saver to display photos from a particular folder on both my monitors after being idle for 15 minutes. But after what seems to be a random amount of time, doesn't seem to matter if I had left the PC, shutdown or restarted it will eventually just stop working and reset the timer to 1 minute. I have to manually reapply the timer again and it will work, all the other settings are unchanged.

Could it be it is because I've set DisplayFusion not to start when I launch Windows? So it's basically always off until I need to reset the settings again?

That value in DisplayFusion is the same value from the Screensaver settings in Windows, so it shouldn't matter whether DisplayFusion is running or not. Is the actual value getting changed, or does it still show 15 minutes when the issue happens?

When it stops working and I go check the value, it's changed to 1 minute.

Can you disable the screensaver through DisplayFusion and set it up through Windows, and test it for a few days to see if the wait timer still get's changed? I wonder if another app is changing it.

So I decided so simply reapply the settings and be on the lookout for when the issue would occur so that I perhaps could pinpoint a culprit. However, I've had no issues since I last posted. No idea why. If anything changes I will post again. Thank you.
