The title pretty much says it. When I am using the settings window for any screensaver it closes after 30 seconds. The changes I made are not saved. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? Or is it something on my computer that might be causing this? I am using Vista Home Ultimate 64bit. I just installed the update to v4 pro. I am using the trial for pro, if that matters.
If I can get this issue taken care of I would definitely like to support your product by buying the pro version. I think this software is the best display manager (especially for my dual monitors) I have tried. None of the others have near as many features I want as yours. Either way keep up the awesome work.

edit: Since posting this I discovered a new major problem with the screensaver. The screensaver will not start using either the timeout option nor the right click on the icon. The screen goes black for a second then either back to the desktop or to the login screen (have it set to require password on exit). I unchecked the password option and same problem. I have been using Photo Slideshow Screensaver v2.4.1.0 until now and it used to work fine. Now with the latest update to your software it doesn't work except in the preview mode, where it works as normally. If I switch both to the displayfusion Photos Screensaver it works fine. I like the Photo Slideshow better because you can exclude some sub-folders from the list used. For now I will move those folders I don't want used.
Also the mouse cursor remains visible when the screensaver is active.

Thank you for the compliments, glad to hear you like DisplayFusion!

The issue with the settings window closing is somewhat expected, due to the way that we need to open it up, because the individual screen saver settings are independent from DisplayFusion itself. However, we'll review it again and see if there's a better way to handle it.

As for the screen saver issue, I've tested and confirmed the issue with the third-party Photo Slideshow Screensaver, but it also seems to do the same thing for me in the previous DisplayFusion version (3.4.1). I'll be investigating this some more as well, and we'll be working on improving our built-in one as well :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response. Like I said I will just move the unwanted folders someplace else and use yours. I will be purchasing your product soon. Looking forward to the next update.

Good news! We've found the issue, and it will be all fixed up for 4.0.1 Beta 1, which will hopefully be available early next week. I'll post an update as soon as it is available to try out.

Thanks!

We've just released DisplayFusion 4.0.1 Beta 1, and the issue with the Photo Slideshow Screensaver should be all fixed up. Could you give it a try from the link below?
