Fades between screensaver images is nice! Will you be adding a variety of transitions that are randomly used?
We are planning to add more in the future. Are there any in particular that you'd like to see?

Thanks for your positive reply, Keith. Appreciate it! I'd just like a randomized variety of transitions between images on my 2 monitors. Some to consider would be:
wipes from all directions, including diagonal
stripes from all directions
box and circles that explode and implode
mosaics
dissolves
clocks
image explode and implode
bar slides
unrolls from all directions
slides from all directions
random dots
flow down
etcetera

Thanks, Keith! After installing ver 8, beta 2 just now, I find that photos no longer fill the screen. Is there a setting I missed to recover that feature?

Hi Keith,
I've tried applying both options, and it still seems to not work all the time. It applies the effect sometimes, but otherwise the image is unaffected and is reduced in size and placed on the top left corner of the screen, with the rest of the screen filled in black. I've tried multiple different size modes with the "Scale smaller images to fit the screen" on and off, and it seemed to have no effect. Some of the images that were not properly scaled were also higher resolution (1920x1080 or higher), so it doesn't seem to be happening to only smaller images.

Re v8b2:
It's also the reverse problem of large images not being down-scaled to fit a smaller screen.
There are also some images that would otherwise fit on the screen that are being down-scaled.
I have the images set to "Fit best and maintain aspect ratio (no clipping)" which worked fine on v8b1 and earlier.
One thing I Iike is that the screen saver setting "Show images in a random position" seems to be working for the first time. Not very well, but it is working at least. What I expected this to do is for images that do not fill the display, to show them in locations on the screen in addition to centered. To show the entire image of course, just to move the location around. (I mention this because with large images, it sometimes puts the upper-left corner of the image somewhere while the lower right corner is off-screen.)

My experience is the same as John's. I applied the recommended settings, but images don't scale to fit the screen. And clipping occurs despite setting not to. Photos displayed fine in 8b1.

Hi Keith,
The issue continues to be here after applying the Beta 3 update. I restarted both the program and my computer to make sure everything updated, but the wallpapers continue to scale to the top left of the screen, or clip when it was set not to. I am on Windows 10 if that may have something to do with it.

My experience is exactly the same as John's. I'm running Windows 7 Pro (build 76010).

Here is the file you requested. The file contains the settings and 10 images. Of the 10 images, "Beautiful Snow", "Blue", and "Blush" scale properly and do not clip. The other 7 images do not scale properly and/or clip the image.

None of the attached display correctly in 8 beta, but all work fine in 7. In 8 all either display small or are clipped or both.

Could you add an option to randomize the transitions?

All of the images are now scaling properly and not clipping in the latest beta release. Thanks for all the help, Keith!

Thanks Keith! My experience matches John's. Screensaver images now all seem to display fully and properly. Awesome!
Excellent, glad to hear it!
