I have screensaver set to out individual images on each of my 3 monitors.
Settings are - Fit height and maintain aspect ratio
Staggered image change
Explode
Scale smaller images to fit the screen

Issue is, occasionally images will be shown as less than an inch tall... And it happens on all three monitors - randomly, individually, simultaneously. I am at a loss as to what to do.

Added info - verified that each picture is a full sized image, no thumbnails in the folder

Strange! Is it always the same images that show up small like that? If so, could you attach a couple that seem to do it so that I can test with them here?

I can, but it's not the same! Sometimes they will show up full sized, sometimes miniscule. Here is one of the offending images, and it's miniscule screensaver counterpart.

Thanks, I'll test with that here and see what I can find out.

Actually, could you also send me a backup of your settings (Settings > Options > Export) and a copy of your troubleshooting info?

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Just a heads up, I haven't been able to reproduce this yet, but will keep working on it and keep you posted on what I find out.

Thanks!

Quick question, if you don't use the "Explode" transition, does this still happen?

Sorry for the delay on that - testing it out, and I will update you!

Edit: Switched to "Cross Fade" and the first two images to appear were tiny.

Weird! Ok, I still can't seem to reproduce it here :(

If you disable the transition animations altogether does it still happen?

Apologies for taking so long to get back to you! Yes, it still appears to do so.

Ok, I'm completely stumped on this. I will keep this open on my list and revisit it later, hopefully I'll be able to come up with a way to reproduce it on our end, because we won't be able to debug it without it :(
