I am using Windows 10 Pro and DisplayFusion 8.11. I just noticed this morning that the option to scroll in unfocused windows doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm not sure when, but I did get prompted to go to version 8.1 and then 8.11 shortly after that. I verified that I still have that option set in the settings. Is this a Binary Fortress thing or a Windows 10 thing or some combination?

In Windows 7, DisplayFusion handled the inactive mouse scrolling itself, but since Windows 10 added that feature natively, the option in DisplayFusion just enables the Windows 10 setting. Is it enabled in Windows Settings > Devices > Mouse?

Correction. The option is turned on and it does work, except not in Excel 2013.

Perhaps not in any of Office 2013. I just checked in Word 2013, and it also will NOT scroll unless the window is in focus. I don't know if the same problem exists in Office 2016 or not.

I have been routinely creating a spreadsheet every month, drawing data from another spreadsheet and doing some replace alls in a column where I would just hover back over the column and continue to scroll. The little window with replace all in it is preventing me from scrolling the column in the main spreadsheet window unless I click the main spreadsheet window into focus.

So no, it does not focus in Office as it used to. If there are multiple browsers open, it scrolls in unfocused windows just fine. So apparently, it is a Microsoft Office thing. I surely miss the option the way it used to work in DisplayFusion.

It looks like Excel 2016 doesn't work, but all other apps do. This is very unfortunate, it looks like Microsoft is breaking the mouse-scrolling feature with its own app. :( We'll have to test this more and see what we can do.

I am also having the same issue in excel 2013.

Is this a known issue?

Edit: Using Windows 7 pro 64 bit.

It is open on our list, yep. If we're able to fix it up, we'll be sure to post an update.

Thanks!

The last time we looked at it, it wasn't something we could fix, but if we're able to fix it in the future we will post an update.

Thanks!
