Hey guys, having a problem with display fusion on boot. Been using it for years with no probs, taskbar used to load on boot with windows like normal.
But now I have to close display fusion and then reboot it for the taskbar to appear. Anyone had a similar problem? I tried sifting through the settings to find something related but couldn't really find anything. On Windows 10 also

No problem, here's the file
Hi Nathan,
Thanks for sending that over. Was that file sent while the taskbar failed to load? If not, could you send me over another copy when the issue happens?
Thanks!

Hmm so for some reason I can't even open the settings when I first boot. The one I sent before is after I closed and re-opened df. Dunno seems like it's not fully loading on boot but yeah I can't send over a log unfortunately.
Strange, when the issue happens can you open Task Manager and head to the "Details" tab, and see if "DisplayFusion.exe" is listed there?
Thanks!

Yeah its still appearing as open in the task manager. I've been closing it with task manager and then re-opening it after boot to get it working again... Must be something stopping/clashing with it and stopping
from booting correctly

Alright no prob, just did a log. The boot time is 15:21 pretty sure, or within a minute of that.
Hi Nathan,
Thanks for sending that over. Do you have any anti-malware programs installed that may be blocking DisplayFusion from launching?
Could you also try a full uninstall and reinstall (make sure this folder is deleted: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion") and see if the issue persists?
Thanks!
Hi Nathan,
Can you try rolling back to v9.8 and see if the issue persists? I've attached the link below.
Thanks!

Just tried 9.8, rebooted my PC and the same problem still. I can see DF in the
tray or whatever it's called. And yeah I can still see that it's 'running' in the background but yeah still doesn't actually boot/open until force closing it.
Hi Nathan,
Okay thanks for testing that. Could you send us in a support request via the Help > Contact Us link on our site?
Thanks!

Hi so I've been using that version you linked to me via email, and majority of the time it doesn't load correctly like before, but just now after clicking 'no' on a popup about language settings that always appears on this version for me, it actually worked correctly and everything loaded. I'm gonna try a few more restarts and I'll see what happens
