I have been using DisplayFusion for several years now, and I have had the secondary taskbar setup with shortcuts sort of like a Quick Launch taskbar (I know I am old school ). Anyway I recently updated from the latest 10.0 beta to 10.1 beta 3 and I noticed that the shortcuts on the secondary taskbar shrunk (i.e. the icons were smaller). I reverted back to the latest 10.0 beta I had which was 10.0 beta 16 and the icon size returned to the normal size. I searched for a setting or somthing that might be doing this, but I have found anything yet.

I have attached images of the secondary taskbar shortcuts from 10.0 beta 16 and 10.1 beta 2. I am running Win 10 version 22H2

Thanks for sending that over, we've added more padding to the icons in our latest beta. If you increase the "Taskbar Icon Width" advanced setting, does that fix it up?

Thanks so much for the help. I found that I had overrode the the Taskbar -> Shortcut Size:Width value a long time ago, and it needed to be updated with the newest release.

similar to the above, I just updated to 10.1.1 and now my secondary taskbar icons have extra padding, a wider gap between them. I have played with taskbar shortcut width size but even with a setting of zero or a negative number, there is still too much padding. If this change is permanent I might go back a version, but maybe there is a fix?

This is a permanent change. Could you send me over a screenshot of how your icons look?

sure here you go, thanks for your help. Right now taskbar gap size is set to a negative number just to see if it mattered, but it looks the same as when it is set to zero, the setting I've always used.

That setting takes a value between 1 and 1000, if you set it to something like 30, does it look closer to what you want?

a setting of 30 puts big 1 inch gaps between the icons, seems kinda weird that this setting can go to 1000. 20 also has big gaps, though not as big. A setting of 1 appears to be the minimum but there is still a larger gap than in previous releases. As you can see from my picture earlier the difference between Df and win10 is not very much, I'd just like them the same if possible. But if not, no biggie.

Ah okay, if 1 is still too big there isn't much we can do there. If you would like to go back to the old padding, you can grab v9.9 on this page: https://www.displayfusion.com/OldVersion/
