My monitors are acting like the scenario described in this discussion:

https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/feature-dim-non-primary-monitors-all-at-once/?ID=bb39636a-589f-448c-9a6c-da69339e75a9

... but I haven't installed a script or anything.

Whatever monitor contains the active window or taskbar (in other words, wherever I have last clicked) is normal, and my other 2 monitors are darkened... basically, it is a lightbox effect.

Is this a new option that has been released recently and there is a bug?

I'd like to turn it off, but the only thing that works is exiting DisplayFusion.

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Have you checked the "Monitor Fading" section in the settings, and particularly if the "Enable Monitor Fading" option at the top is enabled?

Hi Mike,

Yes, that was it. Thank you.

I had found that setting before, and tried unchecking the box. But I guess I hadn't allowed enough time for the setting change to take effect, before concluding that it wasn't doing anything.

Thanks again!
