I found Keith's description of what doesn't work when hooks are disabled for an app. That clarified things a lot, because up until then I was just fumbling with the Compatibility dialog.



Suggestion: When "Allow this application to load DisplayFusion Hooks" is unchecked, disable the options that are not valid, such as maximized window dragging, window snapping, and middle-click moving.
