when i restored DF when coming from win7 to win8.1 things i noticed so far that didnt restore in my settings.. well it had the settings that i had before but it didnt apply them. my monitors wallpapers, my screen saver was selected properly but the time was off, and it wasnt applied, and my account wasnt logged into after i restored the settings..

its like the settings are there, they just dont get applied after you import them..

The screen saver timeout doesn't actually get stored with the DisplayFusion Settings, as DisplayFusion just sets it directly in Windows, so that's expected :)

I will check out the account login and wallpaper stuff though, thanks for the heads up!

Not 100% sure, but we'll definitely look into it :)

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and the wallpaper should now get applied automatically when restoring from backup. It should also show the credentials on the Settings > Options tab properly now as well.

Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
