When trying to install the standard DisplayFusion I receive the following errors:

Quote:
[1] Variable name to long.

Script Line:

Hit OK, and then the next box appears:

Quote:
This application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please contact the vendor of this installation.

Error#: 0007:0005

I am using Vista 64-bit and nvidia graphics card. But cannot install it and was wondering if anybody has any ideas!

Thanks :-)

It sounds like either a corrupted installation file, or a permissions issue. First, can you try re-downloading the setup file:
http://www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion/

Try saving it to a different location this time, then try running it. If that doesn't work, can you try running the setup file with a "/E" command line parameter? It will generate a debug file called "C:\sbevents.txt" and will hopefully have the cause of the error in it. Can you send me this file once it is created? Thanks!

This issue can be resolved by disabling your anti-virus software during the installation. Some anti-virus software show a false-positive when the temporary files are extracted.
