Hi,

Is it possible to get folders to snap to the joining side of a dual monitor?

I want to be able to snap a folder to the right hand side of the left monitor (the side that extends over to the right hand side monitor).

I have window snapping turned on and set to about 20px

Thanks

The windows should snap to the monitor edges when you release the mouse button.

The windows does in fact snap to the monitor edge, but not in the way I was hoping for. It does snap but not resize.
What I'm looking for is for the windows to snap and resize to half full screen like the normal Windows 7 behaviour, i.e. if you snap to top of the screen, it resize full screen, and if you snap to the side, it resize to half the screen. I want this to happen when I snap to the edge in the middle between the two monitors? Is there any way to do this, or maybe implement in a future version of displayfusion ?

It won't resize on dragging it to the inside edge with the mouse, like it does on the outside edges, but we are considering it for a future version. I've added your vote to the feature request.

In the meantime, you can use the following built-in HotKeys to do the same thing:

CTRL+WIN+Left Arrow: Resize to left half of screen
CTRL+WIN+Right Arrow: Resize to right half of screen
CTRL+WIN+Up Arrow: Resize to top half of screen
CTRL+WIN+Down Arrow: Resize to bottom half of screen

Thanks!

I knew about WIN+arrow keys, but not CTRL+WIN+arrow keys. It is very useful.
Thank you for this, and also for adding my suggestion to the feature requests.

I too would enjoy this feature. It would be nice to easily dock windows to split the screens on all the borders between my monitors!

I don't know where you are with this, but it would be a great feature. I just tried it, and it doesn't attempt to blow up to half screen on the middle two monitor edges.
