I'm getting 1000+ page faults / second on the new version of display fusion. I think it's also resulting in a memory leak where I have to shut my system down after about 18 hours because RAM usage is 100%.
I've been trying to track the problem with performance monitor, and at this point it looks like display fusion and the page faults is the problem.
Running windows 7 pro x64.
Page faults are pretty normal (assuming they are soft faults, not hard faults), but the memory definitely shouldn't be leaking. How high does DisplayFusion's memory usage get?

It uses all of my memory. I have to reboot the system after ~24 hours.
The page faults shouldn't be that excessive, the thing that is very strange about it is that it is *just* displayfusion that's doing it, no other software has near as many faults (maybe a few per day).
The memory doesn't appear to be mapped to displayfusion, after running resource monitor it wasn't very easy for me to discern that d.f. was still in control of the memory, the identifying factor is that after disabling the software my system has had no out-of-memory problems after 24+ hours, utilization is 3.5 GB / 12 GB right now, where it was slowly climbing to 11.5 GB every single day before.
I will help in any way I can to help resolve this issue.

Thanks! I noticed in the troubleshooting info that there are some external DLLs loaded into DisplayFusion.exe (Boxcryptor, Synergy). If you reboot in Safe Mode, does DisplayFusion still leak memory? If so, could you send me a new copy of your troubleshooting info from Safe Mode?

I need my computer for work, so I can't leave it in Safe Mode for extended periods of time, but if the paging issue is indication that there is still a problem, I can tell you that the page fault problem is still just as bad in Safe Mode.
Do you want still want the troubleshooting info from safe mode?
Is it possible to leave it in Safe Mode overnight and see what the memory usages is in the morning? The Page Fault count won't provide any indication of whether or not the process is leaking memory.

It doesn't appear to leak at all in safe mode. Over the normal timeframe that memory usage would climb at least ~4-5GB the total memory usage was just 1.5 GB.
Attached is the troubleshooting file.

Awesome, thanks for testing that! In normal mode, could you enable the "Disable Application Hooks" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window, restart your machine, and see if DisplayFusion still leaks memory?

It appears that disabling this setting stop the memory leaks. I'll post back here in a day or two if anything changes.
Ok, thanks! Disabling the hooks isn't really a permanent solution, as you'll lose some functionality. Would you be willing to try out a test build next week so that we can grab some more info from your system?
Ok, great! I'll let you know as soon as it's ready to try out.
