It also looks like as of Beta 3, on "Window Management" tab if I literally change either the "allow displayfusion to help minimize" checkbox, or set alt-tab handler dropdown to "disable" and click "apply", I watch both setting revert instantly back as if it simply won't take the settings change.

Guessing it may be related to this thread but you may want to look at that as well.
