My screensaver has been working flawlessly, until this week. Now I don't have access to the screensaver settings in DisplayFusion, and when I try to launch using "C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion>displayfusioncommand.exe -windowscreensaver
settings", I get the error message above.
This is Windows 7 "Enterprise", and I suspect that the group policy for my (ActiveDirectory?) account has been 'managed' for me. If so, I suspect they just want to ensure a re-logon once screensaver is invoked. But I have 2 monitors, and I really miss my spanning photos!
Is there anything that can be done to get my screensaver back, or am I SOL?
You'll need to check with your IT folks to see what policy they've implemented for the screen saver. We've setup DisplayFusion in a way that if they only enforce the timeout and/or the password lock options, you can still select the screen saver. But if they've enforced the screen saver, or the policy that disables the screen saver settings in Windows altogether, then DisplayFusion won't allow you to set it either.
Sorry!
