i have two profiles (1) pc monitor and (2) pc monitor + tv
when switching from 1 to 2, windows correctly switches from pc to the tv out (for sound) but no sound is heard. i'm forced to switch back to 1 then 2 again for the tv sound to work properly. any ideas?

Do you have the audio device assigned to the monitor profile in the Manage Monitor Profiles window? This might be related to a bug we've been trying to fix but I'd like to confirm first :)

Thanks!

I've tried it both ways. By default the switch assigned the correct audio profiles (think it even got weirder when I tried to assign profiles). The issue at the end is that I'm switching to different drivers (realtek vs nvidia). Let me know your thoughts. So far the formula has been to switch back and forth once to get everthing working.

We did make a change in the latest 9.7 Beta to try and fix a similar issue when switching audio devices that are assigned to monitor profiles. Would you be able to try updating to the beta, and assigning the device to the profile again? Please let me know how that works out :)

Thanks!

I've been having this issue also, except I can't get my sound back on my TV unless I do a full restart. It started a few days ago, randomly, and it's been driving me crazy. I just updated to the 9.7 beta and will also report back.
