Hey guys,

New displayfusion user here and I have been playing around with some of the advanced settings and lurking on the forums here.

I think my question might be fairly basic, but I thought I would get some advice here. I currently have 2 monitors, Primary 28" 3840x2160, and Secondary 27" 2560x1440. I currently have DF managing taskbar/wallpaper/screensaver, but would really like to see about getting these 2 monitors to play together a little nicer.

Mouse movement across the 2 screens is not consistent and would like for the cursor to move across with as little vertical jump as possible. There are a couple of settings in Mouse Management I have toyed with, but no impact.

I would also like to see about these 2 monitors behaving more as one. I am not sure it is realistic to think I could span a wallpaper across the 2 of them without a shift, or screensavers to transition between the 2 more elegantly. I like the 2 monitors having their own taskbar and independent wallpapers if I want. More or less looking for some tips on optimizing a 2 monitor span with differing resos. I have a nvidia 1080, so would surround be the way to go in combo with DF splitting and padding? I have toyed with the split/pad settings without any luck.

Thanks for the help

We have an open feature request for the ability to compensate for the different PPI (pixels-per-inch) when moving the mouse between monitors, so I've added your vote.

For the wallpaper, you can use the options on the "Adjustments" tab to line it up better (adjust the scale, and the horizontal offset usually).

I wouldn't suggest using NVIDIA surround on your setup. It's usually better suited for 2+ monitors that are all the same brand and model.

Thanks!
