Re: DisplayFusion 3.4.1 Beta 5
Windows 7 x64
Dual monitors: Primary in landscape mode; secondary in Portrait mode
ATI 4850 + Catalyst 11-11 (latest; no Hydravision)

In the secondary monitor, DisplayFusion Taskbar is set Left + Autohide with Start button on Auto.

With the new Beta the Start button ghosts on the Desktop and over all applications. The 'ghost' is active, i.e. will call Start menu.

See attached pics.

When I reverted to Beta 4 the 'ghost' Start button ceased to appear and the DF Taskbar functions normally.

Thanks to the development team for their exemplary work and cooperation with us, the users!

Very good (and very quick, as always)!

Will be making some requests down the road for future development.

Just wanted to follow-up, the taskbar auto-hide is all fixed up in 3.4.1 Beta 6.

Thanks!

Thank you so much, Keith. Well done! Beta 6 indeed fixes the problem.

I'm lazy & tired now so I am going to post a suggestion here: eventually make it possible to change the icons and text labels for app shortcuts pinned to the DF Taskbar.

Why? — example: I use IE 9 x64 primarily on my secondary monitor. I have a special icon to distinguish it from the familiar blue icon of the longstanding 32-bit version. Would be nice to see that icon on the DF Taskbar and to label it appropriately.

All good wishes — Hans-Peter

No problem! You actually can change the icon using the "Icon" drop-down button on the Taskbar Shortcuts window. More info here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Help/#settings-taskbar-shortcuts

We're also planning to make the tooltip text customizable eventually.

Thanks!

Very excellent, Keith! Thank you for the extremely prompt reply also. My custom IE9 x64 icon is in place and I am somewhat embarrassed that I missed this control. DF is becoming deep

Best wishes — Hans-Peter
