Hello together, I have a little problem. A screenshot may say more than a thousand words:

So no idea how I can prevent this behavior?

Thanks for sending that over. If you set your taskbar to normal auto hide, instead of "Enabled, shown with Windows taskbar", does the issue still happen?

Um... where exactly do I find this setting? In Windows, or in DisplayFusion?

edit: By the way, it also happens if I don't hide the taskbar at all.

If you right click an empty spot on your taskbar and head to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Autohide, you can change it there.

With the setting you currently have set, if your Windows taskbar is not set to autohide, it will reveal the taskbar but won't actually have the work area set, so it won't adjust the start menu to be above the taskbar.

Ah, I see. But that only works on the secondary screen (see attachment)and makes no difference.

Yeah the primary screen will still have the Windows taskbar, we only support DisplayFusion taskbars on secondary monitors.

Is this happening on both taskbars or just the secondary taskbar?

Just on the primary.

Oh strange, if you exit DisplayFusion does the issue persist?

Nope, it appears only with DisplayFusion.

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

We've released a new beta that should fix this up, you can grab it here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!
