DF Pro 8.0 B1: When I click on Start button on the secodary monitor nothing happened. Whe I exit DF then Start button on the secondary monitor works OK (show start menu).

If you press the Windows key with the mouse on the second monitor, does the Start menu open?

Hello Keith,

yes, when I move mouse to the secondary monitor and press WIndows key then start menu opens. Start menu opens on the primary monitor and then quick move to the secondary.

Ok, interesting! Could you set the logging level to L2, then send another log after trying to click the Start button? The L1 log doesn't seem to have enough information in it.

Thanks!

- set log to level 2
- exit DF
- clear log
- run DF
- click on the button on the secondary monitor
- exit DF
- run DF
- click on the button on the secondary monitor
- exit DF
- backup log

But in the log is the "LogLevel: D1: 2##_##" . Is the right level?

Thanks! That's the right log level yep. Would you be able to send me a backup of your settings? You can use the "Export Settings" button on the Options tab.

Thanks! That did the trick. The issue is caused by the Compatibility rule for Explorer.exe, which has "Disable Application Hooks" enabled in it. After disabling that option and saving the settings, it works again :)

Hello Keith,

I confirm this. Then I uncheck Disable Application Hook for explorer.exe process then Start menu works on the both monitors :-)

Thank you.
