Hi,
Using multi monitor taskbar and having a bit of an odd issue with the start menu on 2nd monitor disappearing when start button clicked or windows key pressed.
It only happens if there is something maximised on the 2nd monitor, I've made a video to show the issue: https://youtu.be/M9Jj0QSnc_g https://youtu.be/M9Jj0QSnc_g
I have tried the "Invoke Start Menu Using Click Instead of Windows Key" but this hasnt made a difference.
I also run Classic Shell and have run both DF and CS together for ages and they have never interfered with eachother.
I'm not sure exactly when this started, probably within the last 2-3 months
Debug log attached
System:
Windows 10 x64 v1809
2 monitors run from GTX 10870ti, 1080p 60hz on both
Nvidia Driver 419.67
Display Fusion (steam) 9.5 (Beta 1)
Does that only happen if you have the full screen game on the Primary, and a maximized window on the second monitor? Or does it happen with a maximized window on the second monitor, regardless of what's running on the Primary monitor?
It happens if I have a game running on monitor 1 but not if i have an application/exploer windows maximised on monitor 1.
I double checked the settings of Elite Dangerous (the game used in the video) and it was actually set to borderless not fullscreen.
I tried with another game (Tharsis) and ran it windowed and that also makes the menu vanish.
Yes that seems to be the case, as when it is fullscreen, you have to alt-tab out to free the cursor to move it onto the 2nd monitor.
When borderless or windowed you can move the mouse freely and it then occurs.
One more question: If you enable the "Ignore Full Screen Windows" option in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings window, does that make this issue go away?

Development on ClassicShell has been discontinued by the original creator around version 4.3 and has been made open source, I am now using OpenShell, the continuance of the same software base, and I am now on version 4.4.131.
I have seen there is a newer version available of OpenShell, 4.4.160, which I will try out and report back (i was set to get auto updates so not sure why I wasnt on the latest)
Still can't reproduce it here with 9.7.1 Beta 10. Does it only happen if you're running a full screen game? Or can you get it to happen if you full screen a YouTube video or browser window as well?

No, Browser works fine in fullscreen, its fullscreen/borderless windowed games (.exes)
We were able to get our hands on that game, but still no luck reproducing it. Are you still running into this issue with the latest version of OpenShell?
