Okay, when I have DisplayFusion running and Start Menu X at the same time, the start menu always shows up on the monitor next to the primary monitor. I close DisplayFusion and the problem goes away. I have attached a troubleshooting log in which I was clicking the startmenu on then off 4 times at 3:44am.

Are you clicking the Start button on the Windows taskbar, or the DisplayFusion taskbar?

Not quite sure what you mean, but I am using the taskbar on my main monitor, which I guess is the Windows taskbar. And now that you mention it, I just tried the taskbar on the other monitors and they all display on the wrong monitor, which should be DisplayFusion taskbar.

This was also going on using Windows 7 64-bit. Just installed Windows 8 a week ago or so.

@Jeff: I'll need to do some testing here using Start Menu X. DisplayFusion doesn't currently contain any code to support that Start menu replacement, so there may be a conflict there somewhere.

I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Thanks!

@Jeff: I finally had a chance to test this out, and didn't run into any issues when clicking on the Start button on the primary monitor. Would you be able to capture a video of the issue using something like Jing (free: http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html)?

@Jeff: We've just released DisplayFusion 5.0, and this issue should be all fixed up. You can grab it here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/

Thanks!
