I got a little over-excited about my new 5120 x 1440 monitor for win 10 and bought the Steam version of df without really trying it much. This hasn't been a happy experience.
I created 4 vertical zones. That part worked well - it's similar to PowerToys' FancyZones.
However, I had all kinds of weird problems with the task bar and startmenu. When I tried to use some of the options, I got all kinds of weird behavior.
For example:
1) With autohide taskbar, I got residual white lines at the bottom of the screen in fullscreen under three of the four zones - specifically, the df ones. The taskbar where startmenu appears DIDN'T get a white line.
2) Weird "skipping" behavior after pressing the Windows key. The startmenu would first appear at the far left of the screen, then jump to the second zone.
3) Startmenu placed too low - so that the bottom of the taskbar covers the power button. I have to click on the startmenu to make the taskbar autohide so as to reveal the power button.
Soooo ... I uninstalled the app. FancyZones does everythign I need with far less bother - only I´m STILL getting a misplaced startmenu! See the screenshot below.
Is thre anyway to just ... make my taskbar and startupmenu behave normally again?
I REALLY don´t want to have to re-install Windows 10 just to uninstall displayfusion!

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out! Have you already tried a full reboot? If DisplayFusion is uninstalled, it shouldn't be able to affect the Start menu after a reboot.

Heya!
Yeah. I tried several reboots. Doing a complete re-install of Windows ened up solving the problem. Kind of an extreme solution, but it after that my startmenu was good again. I just wish I knew why that happened ...
