Hi displayfortress folk,
I just installed displayfusion to trial Pro and there is a Steam sale which includes DisplayFusion at a good discount. I am considering purchasing - but wanted to check whether I can simply apply the license to my exising DisplayFusion installation, or do I need to remove the current installation and install via Steam? What I don't want is to end up with 2 displayfusion instances ??? - let me know your thoughts :)

You can leave the trial installed. When you install the Steam version it will update the current installation with the Steam license and keep your other settings intact :)

Thanks Keith!
I went ahead and made the purchase - but when I click through to install post-purchase the install suggests DisplayFusion will be installed within the Steam location (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) - but the trial is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion. This suggests I'd end up with a double install of DisplayFusion... unless I'm missing something :)

It's just a launcher and the installer that get installed to the Steam package directory. After you download it, when you click Install in Steam, it will run the launcher/installer and install it to the
C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion
directory :)
