I don't know if this is something that would need to be fixed on DisplayFusion's end or SteamVR's, but SteamVR's mirroring function (which captures the desktop to display it in VR) seems unable to click on a DF taskbar, the main Windows taskbar being unaffected. Is that something that could be fixed in DF?
Unfortunately it's not something we can change from our end. DisplayFusion runs elevated ("high integrity") so that it can manage other elevated windows. SteamVR is running non-elevated ("medium integrity") so Windows doesn't allow it to send simulated mouse clicks to the DF windows. If you can run SteamVR as administrator it should work, but I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do that.
Hope that helps!
