Hey,

sometimes the Show Desktop Button seems to be a bit buggy:
When I click on it, it shows the desktop like it should but when I open firefox for example (or any other windowed program) and click on my 2nd monitor, it minimizes all the windows again and shows the desktop (on both monitors!). When I click the Show Desktop Button again, all the windows come up again.
If I click on the desktop without pressing the Show Desktop button before, it does what it should do: nothing so it basically acts like a toggle button, activate it -> click on desktop = minimize all, deactivate it -> click on desktop = do nothing.

Hope that's not just a (in my opinion stupid) feature of it, at least I haven't found any setting for it.
As attachment there is the diagnostic text thingy.... Not sure if you need it here but better now than later :P

I tested that out here, but couldn't reproduce the behaviour you were seeing. Maybe I'm missing a step? Could you test it again, and reply with the exact steps, or if you can capture a video of it, that would be even better :)

Thanks!

Wow, strange! I definitely can't reproduce those same results here. If you disable everything from startup using msconfig, then just launch DisplayFusion and try these same steps, does it still happen? Just wondering if there's any other software on your system that might be contributing to the issue.

Didn't change anything. Will reinstall it now and see if it fixes itself..

Edit: Nope, nothing changed. Also updated to latest beta build

Ok, that's very bizarre. Just to make sure I'm understanding the steps to reproduce this issue clearly (because it's hard to tell when you're clicking in the video), are these correct?
  • Have a bunch of windows open on both monitors
  • Left-click the Show Desktop button to hide all of the windows
  • Restore one of the hidden windows using its taskbar button
  • Left-click the desktop, and the window will hide itself again?

Aha! I was able to reproduce it now. I was using the Windows taskbar to restore the minimized program, not the DisplayFusion taskbar. I've added this to our list and we'll let you know as soon as we're able to get it fixed up.

Thanks!
