I'm sure your list of background integration suggestions gets longer by the day, but I'd like to suggest a pretty obvious one with SkyDrive; since Microsoft is on a cloud-integration kick with Windows 8, using DF with SkyDrive seems like a good idea.
Just a thought; technically, with the SkyDrive desktop app, I already have this functionality, but doing it from within DF would obviously be pretty convenient.
