Jon,

I regularly work with three monitors, one in portrait mode. Occasionally, now, I find it useful to open a windows the full width of the three monitors.

Is there some way in DF to automatically "maximize" a windows to fill the common rectangle of more than one monitor?

Before I'd really ask this ask enhancement, I'd like to know if other people might also find this useful as I would.

You can do this with the "Span window" HotKey "(Ctrl + Win + Tilde (~)". Is this what you mean?

Jon,

That's utterly amazing. You finished my enhancement before I even asked for it! 8-)

Thanks...

Also, if you update to the new Beta 4, using the Span HotKey (seen above) you can press it once to span the window, then press it again to un-span it to it's original window location. :)

Um, it seemed to operate that way where the span hot-key worked to super-maximize, then the hot-key used again would return to last setting. Did I miss something? (or find a bug you made into a feature?)

It didn't always work correctly, and was more of a side effect. Now DisplayFusion has code in place to make sure it always works as expected. :)

You can create a custom HotKey that moves the window to the top-left monitor, top-left corner and sizes it to the combined width and height of your 2x2 monitors:

I'd like to suggest that this feature get a window bar button similar to "move to next monitor"
