Thanks for the kind words! This is actually a general issue with all Universal (Windows Store) apps. We can't remove them from the Windows taskbar in the same way that we can with regular Win32 (desktop) apps. We do have this on our list to try and find a workaround though, so if/when we're able to solve it, we'll definitely let you know!

Ah ok, that makes sense. You can tell how much I have used Metro/Universal Apps haha. Was never a fan... but the Skype one is actually turning out quite well. They have a *dark* theme which I now can't live without. The scaling on my 4k monitors also works much better as PCs still have some issues with some apps rendering on high res monitors. I think the metro apps render based on percentages, which seems to work much better.
Hopefully a workaround can eventually be found. Thanks for the update.
