I have a 34" ultrawide split into 3x1 vertically. When I click the arrow to see the hidden system tray icons, it moves between the middle split, and the right split. It seems to alternate each time I click the button. Is there a way to keep it on the right split? It seems clunky to have to click the arrow, then move my mouse to the middle split when I need to use the system tray icons, or click it twice to make it alternate.

I can't seem to reproduce this behaviour here. Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info so that I can check a few things?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Sorry I didn't have a chance to reply I was on a business trip. Troubleshooting details attached.

I noticed that it is happening with my start menu now as well, even if the "middle" virtual monitor isn't selected, start menu opens on the middle monitor rather than the left one. Another interesting thing is when i start typing in the start menu search, it moves it to the left.

In the Monitor Configuration window, if you disable the checkbox for "Taskbars" in the "Use these features with splits" section and click Apply, does that make any difference?

That looks like it fixed it! I just spammed the button to expand the system tray and it's sticking to the bottom right of the screen. Thanks!
