If you click the "Wallpaper Settings" button in the DisplayFusion Desktop Wallpaper window, and disable the "Use transitions when changing..." option, does that help at all?

Disabling transitions did not get rid of the stuttering.

Ok, does it only stutter when the wallpaper is in the process of changing?

Only during the process of changing the wallpapers. Right now I have it turned off.

Ok, can you try enabling a couple of options in the Settings > Advanced Settings and restart DF to see if that helps at all?

  • General: Run as a Low Priority Process
  • Wallpaper: Use Internal Wallpaper Processing

I've had the same issue for a while now, I figured out that it was DisplayFusion so I disabled it completely.

However, this seems to have fixed it? I'll keep an eye on it, but I hope it works.

I've got 4x4K screens, and the stuttering was terrible.
