I have always wanted to have the task bar to be just extended to my 2nd monitor. I don't mind that I have my clock on both monitors. I also don't mind that I have my running processes on start up on the lower right of every monitor.

Although, I would like it alot more if the task bar would just extend to my 2nd monitor. So on my main monitor it doesn't have that (again not minding & wanting are two separate things). I would like it if on my main monitor on the lower right I didn't have my clock or start-up programs appearing. I would like it if they just weren't there.

I also would like if you could change the transparency of your task bar as this would allow me to seamlessly blend in my task bar.

I personally have though about just moving my task bar to my 2nd monitor on the left side. But, if possible I like having it on the bottom showing what apps are on what monitor it is ever so convenient. also additionally if it would move my action center over to that would be amazing!

Anyways Display fusion is great & I can only see it getting better. If the team ever reads this I just wanted to say I would appreciate if this was added (seems like is possible).

P.S. I know I can add registry lines to make my task bar more transparent, but it doesn't effect my Display fusion task bar.

If you move the Windows taskbar to the other monitor, DisplayFusion will then create a taskbar on the main monitor. Then you can right-click the DisplayFusion taskbar on the main monitor and use the Multi-Monitor sub-menu to disable the System Tray/Clock, to clear up the right side of it. That will still allow you to have taskbars on both monitors and show buttons for the programs on each monitor. Will that work for you?

Regarding the transparency, you can sort of adjust this on the DisplayFusion Settings > Taskbar tab, though it will be difficult to get it to exactly match the Windows taskbar.

Hope that helps! If I misunderstood any of your requests, please let me know :)

Thanks!

I have tried this before & to be forward isn't exactly what I am looking for. They are great features though.

But, let me explain a little better.

Image if you start bar was simply stretched from on monitor to the next. As in it retained the current design of the task bar (start menu on the left & clock (ect) on the right. Then between the two monitors was just the color of the task bar & what ever programs were on what ever monitor. So, basically if I had a 21:9 ultra wide monitor it would look like that but with a bezel in the middle of the task bar.

As far as the transparency goes, I am aware of that option. The only difficulty I have with it. Is the fast it make the whole thing more transparent. When I do a Regedit it just makes the task bar transparent & the icons are still vary visible. This makes it easy to see what program is on what monitor. Also it makes it easy to see the time.

If you would like I can take a screen shot of what the transparency looks like if I make a registry edit.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read through my comment & getting back to me that is amazing.

Thank you very much,

Mark.

Ok, makes sense. I will add this to our feature request list and let you know if we are able to implement it in a future version. Regarding the taskbar transparency, I know what you mean there as well. There isn't currently a way to adjust only the taskbar background transparency, but I've added that to our feature request list as well.

Thanks!
