Is possible to make new windows of the same type open next to each other instead of having all other than the first open on the pinned icon?

E.g. I have chrome pinned to the DisplayFusion taskbar and press the icon to open an instance. The instance then opens in the correct place on the taskbar. To open another instance I then shift-click on the button and the second instance opens at the end of the taskbar instead of right next to the first instance as it would be expected.

This is one of those daily annoyances where you have to micromanage your taskbar to know where your different stuff is placed.
