Hello,
I have a really annoying issue that wasted me quite a few days of troubleshooting performance issues during games because I never thought DisplayFusion was the culprit.
Turns out when I'm playing games with my new GPU and new drivers, the TaskBar on my second monitor flickers every 3-5 seconds. This was giving a huge performance impact reducing my FPS by quite a lot and a sluggish/laggy feeling even though I get 100+ fps during gameplay.
After I closed DisplayFusion now everything works fine.
I tried using compatibility settings but they NEVER seem to trigger, what's up with that ? I used disable taskbars etc it's just useless. Never works.
I would really like to keep using DF, what can I do ?
Thanks in advance.
Do you have the "Allow taskbar reloading while full screen" option enabled on the DisplayFusion Settings > Tasbkar tab?

Hello !
No, I never had that option enabled. The problem occurs with windowed fullscreen games.

Ok, you mentioned you already tried Compatiblity rules for disabling the taskbar while the game is running? Could you attach a screenshot of one of the rules that isn't working for you?

I tried both, not at the same time of course.
Ok, could you try the *dota2.exe rule again, but also enable the "Allow taskbar reloading while full screen" option on the DisplayFusion Settings > Taskbar tab?

Things I tested :
I tried gaming with 'Allow taskbar reloading while full screen applications are running' and it stills give me flickering on second monitor taskbar. I did not have time to test performance.
I tested compatibility + 'Allow taskbar reloading while full screen applications are running' and while it does work on open/exit game, it takes 30+ seconds delay to disable/enable the taskbar. Is there no way to make the detection instant ?
Was this happening on DisplayFusion 9.4.3 as well, or only after updating to 9.5?

I can't really tell, since it's been a messy ride since I changed my GPU.
