The correct icon displays in the message preview, but the wrong icon, being the application icon, displays on the taskbar. I don't recall seeing this before b12.
I restarted DF and still have the issue.

I'll have to get back to you on Monday, when I'm back in front of more than one monitor, if that's OK.

Sorry Keith, but I'm running b14 and still see the main app icon instead of the window icon. It's really odd, as the icon in the preview is the correct one.

Is Outlook pinned on your DisplayFusion Taskbar?
Nope
Is the Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Button Grouping setting set to Enabled?
Yes, it is. I can understand the icon changing if there's more than one window, but I get the icon with only one. Also, I tried setting the grouping to Automatic, but could never get that to actually group things.
Ok, that makes sense then. We recently changed it to match the behaviour of the Windows taskbar if grouping is enabled. If you have Outlook set to minimize to tray (or move it to the second monitor so it gets removed from the Windows taskbar), the Outlook message window will have the normal Outlook icon on the Windows taskbar as well, no? That's how it behaved for me here...

This isn't the behavior of the Windows taskbar, though. If I have a single message window open on the primary monitor, with the Windows taskbar, then it shows with an envelope icon. If I move that window to my secondary monitor with the DF taskbar, then the taskbar icon changes to the Outlook icon. It shouldn't do this if it's the only Outlook window on that monitor. It should only do that if more than one Outlook windows are on my secondary (DF) monitor.
This wouldn't be as big of an issue if Auto grouping worked, but as I briefly mentioned earlier, it doesn't work like it does on the Win taskbar.
Ok, is your Windows taskbar set to "Combine when full" or "never combine?"

Combine when Full. I thought that's what Auto is, but maybe it's something else.
Ok, yeah, I see what the issue is now. We're releasing 7.0 really soon, but we should be able to have this fixed up for the first beta of the next version.

Thanks Keith. I agree that is the right way to fix this in the end, and I look forward to seeing it.
No worries, glad to hear it!

Outlook messages look correct as well. Thanks for fixing this minor annoyance.
I'll patiently wait for the complete Group When Full implementation.
