I am entertaining the thought that DisplayFusion (may) have a hand in helping (or interfering) with this, but the Windows 7 "Taskbar Thumbnail Preview" (when you mouseover it and it shows a small version of that window as a thumbnail). I have been all over the internet and cannot find a way to stop this.
I've seen articles that speak of in-OS settings under the view menu, I've tried multiple different keys written to the registry that attempted to increase the time it takes before it renders the thumbnail (in essence, disabling it), but nothing works. It still shows up instantly. And with my taskbar at the top of the screen, and tabs to things up there as well, often times I find my cursor accidentally registering the damn thing.
Is there anything DF can do?
**UPDATE** - This is only happening from the taskbar that DF is duping for me to my second monitor. They are setup to duplicate their contents so I see the same "open" programs/windows in both taskbars. If I mouseover them on the primary monitor, just a tooltip comes up. But if I mouseover that "same" one on the other monitor's taskbar, it instantly shows the thumbnail preview.
