I've just discovered running Google Chrome in "app mode" which allows you to run an instance of a website as if it were a chromeless, standalone app.

To do this, you need to assign assign parameters to the shortcut:

On the Windows taskbar, this can then be pinned, and the parameters are remembered on reopening.

Using Display Fusion, I discovered it needs a bit of manual setup! You have to set the parameters and icon manually. It would be nice if this this was taken care of.

Anyway, it still works, so that's brilliant.

Cheers!

Glad to hear it! Unfortunately DisplayFusion can't automatically do it, because once the Chrome app shortcut has been launched, it doesn't show the full command line that launched the process :(

Sorry!

I also have the same problem. Would'nt it be possible to track the PID of the created process and assign it to the icon? This way the commandline parameters would not matter anymore.
