Just wanna say first and foremost, love the program! Does what I mostly want it to do which is great. Ok now onto the problem.

So I have dual 144Hz 1080p monitors, and I use my second monitor mainly for HWMonitor and a lightweight browser (Comodo IceDragon) but for some reason, the edges of these programs don't snap together at all. I have the "Enable Windows Edge Snapping to edges of other Application Windows" enabled but to no avail. Normally I wouldn't care too much about it, but the Windows Position Profile that I had saved when I aligned them as close as possible doesn't work either.

Also I know it's been asked before, but is it possible to have the taskbar replicate the 'normal windows' taskbar? I've used "Actual Multiple Monitors" in the past and albeit their search icon logo was different, they manage to replicate as much of the said taskbar even to the extent of the notifications tab (not sure about the keyboard layout icon but that too) and the font as well. Though I could just be an idiot and not know that one of the settings have it lol. Let's hope it's that.

Also does DisplayFusion fix certain borderless games? I was playing Dying Light which doesn't have a Windowed Borderless option for some odd reason so my second monitor is practically useless unless I Alt+Tab out. I know there are programs out there that can remove the borders in a windowed game, but I was hoping DisplayFusion can do that.

Thanks for the kind words! I'll do my best to help out here :)

  • Window Snapping with HWMonitor and IceDragon seems to work correctly for me here. Which version of Windows are you running?
  • We have these taskbar items on our to-do list, but no ETA at the moment on when we might be able to add them.
  • If the game runs true full screen, DisplayFusion can't make it borderless windowed. If it has a regular windowed mode, you could download the "Remove Borders and Size to Full Screen (Make Borderless-Windowed)" scripted function (Settings > Functions > Download Scripted) and try that out on the game window.

Thanks!

Oh turns out they don't snap when you manually enlarge one of them. It works fine if you drag them together. Haha silly me.

Hm, I wonder if there is a way to snap them when manually adjusting the size of the window...

Oh that's good to hear! Looking forward to it 👍.

Hmmm I downloaded the scripted function and tried it but it basically makes the game run it in the problematic full screen as usual. Oh well it's ok, I'll try to figure it out myself. Thanks for the help anyways :).

EDIT: Oh and one more thing, I realised that Windows 10's Sticky Notes doesn't synchronize with its taskbar icon. When I move the window to my second monitor, it doesn't update in the taskbar. Hope this gets fixed.

Snap while resizing is on our feature request list, I've added your vote to it :)

Unfortunately the Sticky Notes thing isn't fixable either, Windows does something super weird with those windows and the taskbar button. Sorry!
